First, it was about surrounding myself with two companions with whom everything becomes obvious and where the musical flow circulates, then an instrumental choice that became obvious when I met these two musicians. Finally, piano and guitar are the two instruments that I have always played in the background of the drums.
A repertoire made up of recent and older original compositions, sometimes intertwining. It evokes a journey through time, an endless game of ping-pong between the age of carefreeness and that of maturity.
A musical and poetic statement. For me, these compositions are like “sonic odes” to ambivalence. They allow me to combine opposites, to tell the same story in completely different ways, or to juxtapose different feelings, emotions, and sensations, superimposing them to find unique colors. Thus, organisms and mechanisms, intoxication and melancholy, popular and classical music, tensions and suspensions, noise and silence… are organized into a multidimensional playground where the binary nature of things remains in the background.
It is also the sound objects and the world of noise that emerges from this. They bring an extra dimension. A fourth space, shared by the three of us as instrumentalists, which connects us internally, right down to our innermost selves, and projects us outwards, to discover our questions.
